John Ruocco
Saxophonist/clarinetist John Ruocco (b. 1952 New Haven, USA) lived in Belgium for over ten years; during that time he worked with such major European players as Bert Joris, Charles Loos, and Michel Herr. Ruocco played with Peter Holzheimer’s Rhythm Combination & Brass for over 10years and is a member of the Philippe Aerts Trio as well as the Ruocco/Rassinfosse/Simtaine trio. He has led the Dutch Jazz Orchestra and teaches at Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and at the Royal Conservatoire in Brussels. Ruocco currently lives and works in the Netherlands.
